Rosemarie Sanchez passed away at home, surrounded by her children after a short courageous battle with cancer, on Sept. 10th at the age of 65. Rosemarie was born in Corcoran, CA where she graduated from high school. She moved to Santa Cruz County in 1983 and began working as a teller for Coast Commercial Bank; retiring in 1999. Rosemarie was a member of the Watsonville Senior Center. She loved to play poker and bingo with friends, her dog Sasha and spending time with her grandchildren.

Rosemarie is survived by her companion of 21 years David Rodriguez; her children Lisa Guerrero of Corcoran, Dena Wheeler of San Francisco, Ramon Solis of Tipton and Sara Platero of Santa Cruz; brothers Tony and Robert Ramos of Modesto, Dan Ramos of Fresno and Larry Ramos of Tulare; sister Esther Murrietta of Modesto; 8 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents Domingo and Natalie G. Ramos and brothers Richard and Arthur Ramos.

Services will be Friday, Sept. 30th at 6:00 PM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 2401 East Lake Ave. in Watsonville.

My condolences to the family. She is now resting in heaven with all the angels. She was a good friend of the family, I will have fond memories of her and my Aunt Katy hanging out in Corcoran. She was a good friend to my Aunt and Rosemary will be missed.
