Jeovahni Eugene Maldonado known by most as "Jeo" died at age 17 on November 1st, 2013 at Watsonville Community Hospital. Jeo was born on February 27th 1996 in Watsonville.
Jeovahni is preceded in life by his mother Loleene Williams, father Edward Maldonado, grandfather; Jesus Maldonado, brothers Autrey and Joey, sisters Nitasha , Jyzenia, and Christina, and his nieces Serenity, Aneliese, and Sophia, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was the youngest of six children, and will always be remembered by his family as "our baby". To his family he was a guiding light, always positive, understanding and compassionate; these qualities distinguished him and made him a unique person.
Jeo was role model for his friends and family of how to truly live life to the fullest. He liked spending time with his friends and family, but especially enjoyed being constructive and playing handball with his father. Jeo enjoyed the beach and loved his animals. Growing up his brothers were his best friends and his sisters were his 2nd moms.
Jeovahni loved his family and it showed in everything he did for them. He was an excellent Freestyle Scooter rider and master videogamer. He was well known to the youth of Watsonville and had many friends.
Jeo attended Watsonville Community School. The students and staff there have prepared this about Jeovahni,
Jeo will always be remembered as the kind, smart, athletic student who became an integral part of the school community, loved by staff and students alike.Jeo excelled in athletics, gardening, sewing, construction, and sailing. He was on track to graduate early.
He was a remarkable young man who poured his heart into everything he did and gave it 100%. Captain of the volleyball team, he also participated in soccer, softball, and handball.
With his expert sewing techniques, he started a small business making handbags. He was an active member of the school garden. He spent many hours constructing boxes, green houses, and making the garden both successful and productive.
Despite these many accomplishments, Jeo will most be remembered for his kindness, his optimism, his sense of humor and the way he embraced life fully. Always true to himself, he brought out the best in people and was alight to those around him. Jeo blessed everyone who he knew.
He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Jeovahni would have liked us to remember him for his creativity and accomplishments during his life.
