Barbara (Rapoza) Crumpton passed away at home on Nov. 28th at the age of 77. Barbara was a native of Watsonville; graduating from Watsonville High School in the top 10% of her class, where she belonged to the Glee club and a Shorthand club. She worked as a secretary for the Superintendent of Schools at the Santa Cruz Office of Education in the 50's and as a receptionist for Watsonville Hospital in the 60's. She was also a piano teacher and volunteered at school and scouting and held many positions at her church. She loved soccer, softball and basketball.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 59 years Robert Crumpton; her children Toni Kittering and children Lance, Heidi, Fallon and PJ, Mark (Penni) Crumpton and children Cassie and Sarah, Russ (Retha) Crumpton and children Devon, Jason, Kelsey and Calissa, Teri De La Torre (Jose)and child Brian and Kris (Kathleen) Crumpton and children Tiffany, Cinnamon, Candace, Bradley, Estephania, Gavin, Zane and Zoe and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family can visit from 5-9 PM on Tue., Dec. 6th at Davis Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Wed., Dec. 7th at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 255 Holm Road. Burial will follow with at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park..
