Henry Marini died on May1st, 2011. He was 99. He was born on October 25th, 1911 in Watsonville. He worked as a gardener at the Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey for 20 years before retiring in 1973. Henry loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Marini, Daughter Phyllis Marini and Son Tom Marini as well as 8 siblings.
Henry is survived by his sons Robert Marini of Watsonville, Gary Marini of Washington and Henry S. Marini of Oregon, daughters Vicki and Elvena Marini both of Watsonville, his sisters Bernice Hillhouse of Watsonville, Marcella Gulermovich and brother Tom Marini both of Grass Valley along with 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday from 5-9pm at Davis Memorial Chapel with a rosary at 7pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday at Watsonville Catholic Cemetery at 10am.
